Polliaeri (Now on Xstreet!)
Congratulations on your recent acquirement of the rare Polliaeri species! Polliaeri are as light as well… air! This of course makes the breed very rare as they tend to like hiding high in the sky, whole flocks have been known to make colonies in large clouds. Once successfully captured the owner must make certain to keep them in a place where they simply can not float away.

Some commands for your Polliaeri…
/7 [insert text here]
This will allow you to speak through your Polliaeri for example “/7 Cheep!” Will say in local chat… “Polliaeri: Cheep!”
/7 /me [insert action]
This will allow you to perform actions through your Polliaeri. For Example “/7 /me hops up and down.” Will say in local chat… “Polliaeri hops up and down.”
/7 name [insert name here]
This will allow you to name your Polliaeri
/7 greet
This will prompt your Polliaeri to greet those around you
/7 whisper
This will prompt your Polliaeri to whisper into your ear
/7 breath
This will prompt your Polliaeri to blow a stream of air. Be careful! This little guy can only go for so long.
Polliaeri also has a click menu available. Click once on your shoulder pet to bring up the menu.
- The menu will allow you to chose your own gender so that your pet can have the appropriate responses in chat.
- You can pick a new channel for your pet to listen to. 1-9 are your options. 7 is the default channel.
- You can also show or hide the title of your Polliaeri as well as chose the color of the title from red, green, or blue.
- Last, you can chose “Help” which will send you the commands notecard again (in case you lose it).
Opening Up Shops?
Well this week has been exciting for me. I’m not so sure about the rest of you. If I have not said it yet I’ll say it now, I am a college student who has the very interesting trimester scheme of scheduling. Thus this is week five of ten… midterms! That and since Christmas is around the corner I’ve been picking up as many hours of work as I can. Why tell you this? Because I often have goals for myself, do this and that by then, but then a shift pops open at work, I remember I have to read 100 pages of homework, or something along that lines. In short, I get busy when I least expect it.
I still plan to have the polliaeri up on SLX tonight, it’s really only waiting on me making a few textures. Bad me!
But here’s where this all ties into the title… I’ve had three offers to open up in-world shops in the past two days. You have to love friends! But I don’t consider myself any where near ready to sell in-world yet. First I’d like to finish the polli line (oh yes there’s more elemental chicks hopping around in my head), that way I have more than three things to offer. I also want to move on to other branches of my larger scheme that would involve not shoulder pets but pets that wander and follow on command.
When my entire system comes out you will be able to have a pet that has both options. For example you can have a shoulder pet form and one that you can rezz and have walk around. But for now you can only have a shoulder pet polligniti for example, and only a walking Actae and vice versa. (What is an Actae? Guess you’ll have to stay tuned to find out!)
So I’m going to make a guess at when I will have inworld shops… ready for it? Here it is… … … sometime mid-January, hopefully before school starts again. Of course I’ll have links where you can actually see them inworld no matter when they are up. But there’s my guess for what it’s worth.

Today was just a busy day in general for me but Raven and I were able to get started on the next in line! Polliaeri!
I’m not so sure I will be able to have him ready by tomorrow but hopefully by Thursday he will be added to SLX. Also there’s the possibility for us to have a few market spots in the near future. I’d love to have this set up as soon as possible but I’d like to get everything I’ve built scripted, textured,and packaged before I begin to pay rent for a shop.

Polligniti Updated!
As promised the polligniti eyes have been updated, much cuter now I think. SLX has been updated as well! Raven has tweaked the code a little so that now it informs users of changes made through the click menu. Yay! Once I have everything updated old pictures will be deleted in the first post and replaced with updated pictures.
Polliqua Preview!
With polligniti on the market finally it’s time to turn our attention towards his counterpart – Polliqua!
Here’s a sneak peak at the little watery guy, more to come soon and hopefully he will be on the market by Sunday. I’ve also updated how I do the eyes, polligniti will be updated tomorrow to have the same eyes and less prims! Yay!

squishy beginnings
One day, during a political science class discussion about classical realism I began to doodle. A sign that I am barely listening, sometimes I write keywords over and over again in different fonts… i.e. realism… But on that particular day I began to draw a water droplet. That had eyes… and in my mind it bounced. And all I could think in a jigglypuff voice was “squishy!”
Thus squishies were born. Soon the water was accompanied by a little flame friend, then a leaf friend, so on and so forth. But why stop there? I devised a whole menagerie of elemental based animals. Complete with a mini-sl game that I shall be purposely vague on because until it begins to take shape I want to keep it a surprise.
I quickly raced home and told my good friend, rp’ing partner in crime, confidant and perhaps most relevant to this post… scripter. After listening he encouraged me to go for it, and thus I began to build in blender.
It’s been a few months, and I’ve decided that even though I still want to go with the very large and ambitious project I also want to simply get what I do have on the market. For I do have a very large amount of them built or conceptualized but I believe I’ve slowed down because to me it just looks like they are sitting there.
That is why this month I’ve begun to market squishies in a simple shoulder pet form although I must say they are not so “simple” in design. (To which I send all of my love and appreciation to Raven)
The catch? Despite the opening up of my ideas and putting them out there for the public, once the true system gets launched I will be closing down the shoulder pet forms of squishies. Do not worry, there will be other ways to obtain them, but it wont be as easy as click and buy. This is in a very distant point in the future, I mean months and months away. Perhaps not even until the end of 2010 so I don’t mean to rush. Only to inform.
What’s the point of this website? It’s your typical information with update pages. I like SLX for the most part but I enjoy being able to see everything all laid out before me. Pictures, blurbs, prices, and anything else that pops into my mind.
